ICAP & ICMAP Honour ChildLife Again With Prestigious BCR Award

Share This Article:

ChildLife Foundation has once again been recognised for its excellence in financial transparency, governance, and corporate reporting as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan jointly bestowed the organization with the Best Corporate & Sustainability Report Award. This award reflects ChildLife’s continued commitment to global-standard reporting practices while it delivers lifesaving healthcare to children across the country.

The BCR Awards, one of the most credible benchmarks of corporate governance in the country, assess reporting quality, compliance with international sustainability standards, and overall organizational accountability. ChildLife has reinforced its reputation as one of Pakistan’s most transparent and responsibly managed non-profit institutions in a highly competitive category.

ChildLife’s Governance and Transparency Set Industry Benchmark

Over the years, ChildLife Foundation has been distinguished for institutional discipline, digital transformation, and measurable impact in critical child healthcare. Its annual reports, audited financial statements, and sustainability disclosures are routinely rated amongst the best in Pakistan’s development sector. This re-endorsement by ICAP and ICMAP recognizes the organization’s sound internal controls, effective use of resources, and commitment to the trust placed in it by its donors.

Representatives of the two accounting bodies noted that time and again, ChildLife had shown remarkable leadership in corporate reporting, which is an area where most non-profits were still far behind. Its commitment to real-time monitoring of ERs, expansion of telemedicine, and data-driven decisions had also contributed to its rising credibility.

This year’s award also acts as a seal of approval for ChildLife’s increasing presence within Pakistan’s healthcare system. With several million children treated at its emergency rooms or through its telemedicine network each year, such focus on transparency helps cement even stronger ties with provincial governments, international NGOs, and donors in the private sector.

ICMAP and ICAP Recognition Strengthens ChildLife’s Commitment to Expanding Emergency Care for Children

ChildLife representatives expressed gratitude for the honor and said recognition inspires the team to work more diligently toward making sure no child in Pakistan dies due to the lack of appropriate, timely medical care. They vowed afresh to undertake further expansion of digital emergency systems, upgrade child emergency units, and increase sustainability reporting on global best practices.
