Smartphone maker Infinix is collaborating with the renowned Italian design house Pininfarina for its next flagship device, the design studio famous for its work with iconic car brands like Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo.
This means the next Infinix flagship is most likely going to look like a luxury supercar, or at least one of the versions will. This is also the first time Pininfarina has teamed up with a smartphone manufacturer.
Pininfarina’s deep automotive design expertise will influence both the hardware and user interface (UI) elements of Infinix’s upcoming flagship.
While specific details about the collaboration are currently under wraps, Infinix plans to make an official announcement in December.
This partnership may help Infinix bring a premium touch to its devices, drawing on Pininfarina’s legacy of high-end, sleek design.
This isn’t Infinix’s first venture into collaborations with design studios. The company previously worked with BMW’s DesignWorks team on the Note 30 VIP Racing Edition and the Note 40 series racing edition, continuing its strategy of enhancing its smartphone designs through high-profile partnerships.
