5 November 2025 — Digital media company Nukta has announced through a LinkedIn post that it has laid off 37 employees in Pakistan as part of an internal restructuring process aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability and regional growth.
In an official statement, the company said the decision was difficult but necessary to align with its long-term vision of building one of the most impactful digital media platforms in the region.
“We do not take such decisions lightly, and this is a difficult step for us,” the company said. “Our commitment to long-term sustainability and innovation remains firm.”

Nukta expressed deep appreciation for the creativity and contributions of the affected employees, calling them “an integral part of our whole story.”
The company added that it will continue its operations from both Dubai and Pakistan offices, focusing on its mission to bring clarity and compassion to audiences across the region. Nukta also expressed hope to rehire affected colleagues in the future as circumstances improve.
