KARACHI- The Pakistani diversified business group Treet Corporation Limited announced its intentions to expand the hygiene razor segment by approving a capital expenditure of Rs 430 million (~ USD 1.5 million) on account of surging demand in both local and export markets. The development was announced in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday by the listed company.
“Treet Corporation Limited announces that owing to exceptionally high sales and strong demand for its hygiene razors, which have exceeded current production capacity.“Accordingly, the Board of Directors has approved a Rs430 million capital expenditure to expand the hygiene razor segment,” the notice read. The company said the investment will enable it to meet the rising demand, “including local and export, improve efficiency, and enhance shareholder value”.
Last month, Treet announced a strategic expansion into the fast-growing personal care segment with the introduction of two new proprietary brands: “Genesis” for men and “Estela” for women. The company said that this launch marked its entry into the fast-growing personal care and grooming category. The grand launch event for the full range of products would be organized on January 01, 2026, it had then said.
Treet Corporation Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a publicly listed company in 1977. The company has mainly been involved in the manufacturing and sale of razors and razor blades, along with other trading activities. The company offers more than 75 SKUs, which include shaving razors, body razors, and feminine razors.
