LAHORE: The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Lahore chapter observed the Benazir Bhutto death anniversary with solemn respect and renewed commitment during a prayer ceremony held at the party’s Model Town office. Party leaders, workers, and supporters gathered to honor the life, struggle, and sacrifices of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan’s first woman prime minister and a global symbol of democratic resistance.
The ceremony included Quran recitation and Fateha Khwani, creating a reflective atmosphere as participants remembered the Benazir Bhutto death anniversary as not only a day of mourning but also a reminder of democratic ideals and political courage.
Senior PPP Leaders Pay Tribute to Benazir Bhutto
The event was attended by MNA and President Women Wing PPP Punjab Samina Khalid Ghurki, PPP Central Punjab Information Secretary Shehzad Saeed Cheema, Rana Jameel Manj, Ashraf Khan, Faiza Malik, and a large number of party workers.
