NADRA Issues Warning Over Digital ID Card Acceptance
Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority has issued a strong advisory to institutions that refuse to accept the digital ID card as a valid form of identification. The authority emphasized that the digital ID card carries the same legal status as the traditional physical identity card.
According to the statement released by NADRA, several government offices and organizations have continued to demand physical identity cards or photocopies instead of accepting the digital ID card.
